My background is of the real world. University. Then 20 years of hands-on experience in operations, production and logistics. Nine of those years running my own drinks business. Now I’m an actual builder (construction industry) by day and a novice vibe-coder by night.
Now, I build privacy-first tools for non-tech people.
Curiosity and optimism drive the work. Critical thinking to achieve practical solutions is the method, and personal privacy is how I choose to work.
A year ago I depended entirely on external SaaS tools, trial and error and search engines. Now I run two-hour evening build sprints and ship fully functioning, bespoke apps. This website took four hours to launch. The .md files that power my workflow took longer to build.
Experiment. Own decisions. Iterate quickly. Create. Go again.
I am fully aware of my limitations. I am not a front or backend developer. I am a novice vibe-coder working in my spare time. But I get the logic, the possibilities of human creativity coupled with AI iteration, and the pitfalls. AI is not a free ride. I am crucial. AI is brilliant. We are both vulnerable to errors. Here lies my value: in how we create, correct, iterate and progress.
I love being a novice with limited hardware, my output will only get better. Continuous learning, accountability, and having fun in the process. This is how I progress.
Technical note: everything you see has been vibe-coded using Brave Leo, an agentic AI built into the Brave browser. No GPU beyond a laptop, an Android phone and a Raspberry Pi 5. Just the right questions.
